The position requires you to be a strong and versatile writer, capable of turning out copies for websites, social media, news releases, corporate reports, email campaigns and more. It will also incorporate media relations and influencer relations. The successful candidate must be comfortable learning new technologies and new software applications without fear. We like lifelong learners and people who can think strategically while also taking care of the details.

Much of our work is online, so you'll need to understand how technology changes communications today ... and be excited by that. You should be intensely curious about the world around you and be able to analyze complex communications issues, from public policy matters to making a more effective website.

A degree or diploma such as Creative Communications (PR) from Red River College or PR and Marketing from the University of Winnipeg PACE program plus 1-3 years of professional experience is strongly preferred.
