We’re so excited to have another University of Winnipeg, PACE intern! Shantia joins us as her final step in completing her public relations, strategic communications and marketing diploma program. 

Shantia has always been fascinated with storytelling, the media and all things marketing. You can see this in her eagerness to learn and better her abilities in the industry. 

Not a stranger to the marketing and public relations world, Shantia started her career with a focus in the financial services side of marketing, in her home country of Antigua. With more than a decade of experience, she relocated 4,500 kilometres away to continue her career journey at the University of Winnipeg.

She can also be found in and around the community. An active member of the community, Shantia can be found volunteering with the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba and is a member of the Peak Performer Toastmaster Club. She also loves spending time with her family - exploring all the new activities Winnipeg and Manitoba offers them.  

Shantia is working hard in a variety of client work, including our fourth annual #Dynacare4Diabetes campaign! Keep an eye out for some of her work as she puts a shine on that campaign.
