The Creative Communications program at Red River College Polytech is an incredible program and we’re always looking forward to receiving a work placement from their recent cohort. Emmalee Blackadar is no exception. 

An avid academic and keen team player, Emmalee likes to pitch in wherever she can — the busier, the better. She is an extroverted introvert thanks to working customer service jobs that prioritize creating the best moments for customers, like crafting delicious drinks as a Starbucks barista.

A born storyteller, Emmalee loves being able to honour and hone people’s stories as a way to connect with others. She takes all the skills she’s developed and puts it directly to work in her communications and marketing content creation for our clients. 

In her program, she enjoys working as one of the  Peer Tutors and helping students find success in their studies. When Emmalee isn't getting top-marks or wowing customers and clients, you can find her cozying up with a cup of tea reading new books, rewatching her favourite shows for the millionth time, or volunteering in her community. 

The short time she’s been here we already see she’ll excel in her program specialization, Public Relations. Welcome to the team, Emmalee!
