The position requires a certain level of maturity, self-confidence and strong oral and written presentation skills as you’ll be interacting with and on behalf of clients. 

We’re seeking someone who has a desire to play a lead role as a marketing and communications strategist for our clients. You’ll be asked to oversee our agency's relationships with a number of clients, ensuring their marketing and communication programs are delivered on stated objectives. In this role, you’ll need to have a keen understanding of marketing-communications strategy to spot opportunities for our clients to improve their results and enhance their brand value.

We are looking for someone who is capable of clearly articulating the creative needs of our clients to copywriters, designers, photographers and video crews. For this role, you need to be a strong writer, comfortable with developing reports, proposals and copy for client projects as needed. And because your desk is the last stop before materials reach our clients or the public, you’ll need a keen eye for and a passionate commitment to quality.

Working with our other team members, this position will incorporate media relations and influencer relations in addition to digital and traditional marketing. The successful candidate must be comfortable learning new technologies and software applications without fear. Much of our work is online, so you’ll need to understand how technology is changing communications today… and be excited by that. You should be intensely curious about the world around you and be able to analyze complex communications issues and present effective solutions.

We like lifelong learners and people who can think strategically while also taking care of the details. 

A degree or diploma such as Creative Communications from Red River College or PR and Marketing from the University of Winnipeg, PACE program, plus 2-5 years experience in either copywriting, strategist or junior account manager role, is strongly preferred.
